Ode to snow.....

As I sipped my flagon of coke (full sugar) and settled -with some difficulty due to the huge puppy hogging the space- in front of a warm fire gazing out onto a world blanketed in a thick duvet of snow, a thought slowly began to take shape. 50 minutes later I exclaimed " I've got an idea, I should draw something snowy" and that my friends is just what I did (after another glass of coke, lunch, a snow fun with the dog, some chocolate and another warm by the fire).

New Year...new design...

I decided that it was about time that I re-designed my blog with a brown papery theme (I really like brown paper). I probably shouldn't admit just how long it took me to work out how to do this update but, for anyone interested, it was several attempts over a number of days. Someone once told me that that creating a blog was "easy as", in hindsight, they either fibbed a bit or grossly misjudged my competence on a computer. I persevered though and hope that the outcome is an improvement on the first blog design. Oh, I also did this little fairy and toadstool piece (I like fungi) and got round to creating a signature block for my art work. YAy!
